She has over 16 years of experience growing brands and non-profits. Her expertise includes strategic planning, marketing, PR and production. She maintains close relationships with top industry leaders, including established actors, musicians, artists, influencers, stylists, editors, music and film executives, retailers and promoters. This vast network inspired her to create a company that could develop and support brands and non-profits in growing with integrity, thus Particle was born.
After receiving her Bachelor’s degree, she was hired by The Cleveland Museum of Art, which has long been rated one of the best art museums in the world. She worked as a Development Professional, helping to oversee operations of multiple fund-raising areas.
While at The Museum, Denise was recruited to help build a Cleveland-based Record Label, where she ultimately specialized in leading the Publicity Division. The label became a fast success, and soon became a Universal Music Imprint.
Working with Universal brought frequent trips to New York City, and it wasn’t long before Denise relocated in 2004. While in NYC, she worked with several band management and PR companies, until she was hired by NYLON Magazine, where she worked as a Senior Events and Public Relations Manager. While at the magazine Denise worked on a variety of marketing and editorial campaigns for clients such as Diesel, 1921 Jeans, K-Swiss, Myspace, Mac Cosmetics, Skullcandy, Bloomingdales and DKNY. She also worked on a NYLON Marketing campaign at Project Global Tradeshow.
In 2007, Denise left NYLON to launch her own company, Particle. She remained based in New York City until 2010, when she moved to Los Angeles.
In 2011, Denise began studying Spiritual Psychology and coaching, and expanded her marketing and events company Particle, to include consulting and coaching services, with an emphasis on ethical leadership and business growth strategy.
